|About The KAC|
Who is the Kentucky Association of Chiropractors?
The Kentucky Association of Chiropractors is made up of a large diversity of doctors around the state of Kentucky. The elected officers come from the seven different districts across the commonwealth and diligently work to protect chiropractic in the state. Multiple seminars are presented throughout the year which provide valuable information as well as continuing education credits.
The object and purpose of the KAC is to unite chiropractors in the promotion of chiropractic and to foster relationships among its members.
What We Do
Each year the KY Association of Chiropractors sponsors continuing educational seminars totaling 24 plus hours. The Annual L.B. Payne Insurance Seminar is January 9 & 10, 2015 (12 hours) at the Crowne Plaza in Louisville. The KAC will present two seminars on ICD-10. This seminar was created with the ACA and our Executive Director Dr. Nick Payne. The seminar will be held 12-6 local time on Saturday, May 9th in Bowling Green at the Holiday Inn University Plaza and on Saturday, May 30th in Lexington at the Embassy Suites. The 99th Annual Convention and Educational Symposium is September 18-20, 2015 (12 hours continuing education credit) at the Embassy Suites in Lexington, KY.
KY. Insurance Activities
The KAC Government Relations Committee takes on important issues, working for your interests with the Insurance Industry and the Kentucky Commissioner of Insurance.
The KAC’s quarterly publication, "The Voice,” is sent to all KAC members in Kentucky and members outside the state. Our goal is to help keep every member up-to-date on issues before us and offer practice hints to help both new and established practices.
Local Association Meetings
Regular district meetings are held in each of the seven KAC districts across the state, offering an excellent forum for regional concerns, networking, and receiving state–wide updates.
The KAC offers many opportunities for personal growth and leadership. Everyone plays a role in how our association and profession will enter the future.
